Wedlake Bell are a renowned LB100 law firm based in London. Employing over 250 staff, their reputation has seen them attract a full spectrum of clients, from established multinationals and FTSE 100 companies to entrepreneurs and senior executives.
Following a lease expiry on their current building, Wedlake Bell decided to make the move to a larger premises; almost doubling their floorspace over 2 levels at the striking Queen Victoria Street address.
As you might expect from a respected law firm, the interior of the space is crucial for the attraction and retention of staff and clients. With this in mind, the main contractor and Wedlake Bell chose a series of bespoke ceramic and porcelain materials to imbue the space with a clean and natural ambience.
The installation of porcelain is considerably labour-intensive work; requiring a level-substrate to prevent any variations in height or lippage between the tiles. As the porcelain was such a large aspect of the workspace, our installation team worked out of hours to ensure site logistics progressed smoothly and we caused minimum disruption to the neighbouring clients.
The end result is a beautiful and defined space with the mark of distinction that reflects the Wedlake Bell brand.
Shane Gaffrey, Project Director said, “The client’s great satisfaction with new workspace is a testament to the surprising difference ceramics and porcelain can make to an office project.”
