ITRS is a brand leader in developing specialist software systems for the financial markets. The London office serves as their European headquarters; a working office and a meeting place where leading professionals gather to share the latest research in financial technologies.

After undergoing rapid expansion and an international rebrand, ITRS relocated to the newly renovated Bonhill Building in Shoreditch – the heart of London’s creative tech district.

Working alongside the client and the appointed design team, we sourced a range of creative solutions that create ‘sight lines’ – spaces that are defined by the interior decor.

Walkways were delineated with chequered Bolon tiles. Known for their durability and easy-to-clean properties, the pattern also draws the eye into the centre of the building; the focal point of the office.

In the main working areas luxury vinyl from Karndean was employed. This cost-effective panelling replicates the look and feel of natural timber and provides excellent acoustic absorption; perfect for reducing the noise levels of the open plan office.

The LooseLay vinyl allowed us to tackify the planks to the raised access flooring, providing quick and easy access to the power and data cabling, while providing a seamless floor. Furthermore, the easy-to-apply adhesive, dramatically reduced installation times.

As the meeting rooms were to be used for video conferencing, it was important to provide privacy and sound insulation. We used Modulyss carpet tiles, which reduce reverberations from the glass walls while creating a defined sense of style, comfort and warmth.

Completed on a fast-track process, this workspace flooring project was a great success: bright and sleek with a wholly sustainable product story, we look forward to working with ITRS in the future.
