Our project teams love a challenge and when global investment company Bedrock decided they wanted to move offices that was exactly what they faced.

With a select portfolio of clients consisting of  high net worth families, investment professionals, endowments, foundations and institutions, the time had come for Bedrock to move into a new office space in London’s busy West End. With their old office space no longer fit for purpose they knew exactly what they wanted to achieve in this new space.

After several design workshops the client settled on no fewer than six different floor finishes across the 560 sqm space. Combining our own engineered timber flooring through the main reception area with softer floor finishes from Shaws Contract in the meeting rooms we really managed to meet the clients brief. They were particularly pleased with the contrast between the hard and soft flooring, completely capturing the pastel shade pallet they desired.

Because of the location of this project, a busy West End street, it meant that access into the building was restricted and materials had to be taken in through the main reception area. With other businesses on different floors noise was also a problem. No noisy works were allowed during day time hours which meant a flexible working approach by the project team was required.

Project Manager John Humble said “This project required a fast track approach and a highly coordinated team to deliver on schedule and on budget.”
